7.25.15 Recently returned from an outing to Charleston, South Carolina, where I photographed the people of the city. Soon afterward, we'd migrated to Folly Beach, where I photographed beach goers and birds until sunset.
7.23.15 Returned from a trip to downtown Charlotte (and Freedom Park the day prior) for some lovely candid photos of the girls. Also got to further break in Sigma's monster of a lens, the 150-500mm. Hand-holding a six-pound camera/lens combo for hours on end probably isn't the best of ideas. I still tend to rely on their 18-35mm for street photography and creative portraits.
Two newer, reserved fractals have been created!
A smoky, monochromatic marvel reserved to the always wonderful Quinn Deogracias, created as pattern practice. I hadn't focused much on the complexity of fractals in a while, and I wanted something with a bit more going on than usual.
A star-speckled special artwork for the lovely Rachel Ghramm, created spontaneously over the course of a few days, while messing around with some of my older works.
